Blessings from Stephanie Lane, Director of Ultimate Learning Success.  My journey began in 1994, with the birth of my son Christian.  At eighteen months of age, he began exhibiting violent behavior. He was removed from one daycare after the other and placed in state programs with testing and evaluations at $300-$600 every few months. For three years he would undergo intense behavioral, occupational, and speech therapy. He had sensory issues, auditory and visual issues – and the labels/diagnosis began with Attachment Disorder at two years of age, Oppositional Defiant Disorder and PDD (a generic Autism diagnosis) at three years of age.  Today he is fourteen years old, and a living testimony of God's power and healing.  It is my desire that you find the same hope and tools that will set your children into the future and hope God has for them.

You can create an environment with opportunities that will increase learning success and prevent problems from developing.

ULS believes that parents can prevent problems and provide a foundation for learning success if they  understand the stages of development every child needs.

We bring intelligence about. We’ve got six
chronological years of time where every opportunity
multiplies exponentially the stages of brain growth
and development.

If we lock a baby in a closet and slip food under the
door, or give him no stimulation or information for
the first six years of life, there is be so little
brain growth and development; he may not speak, walk,
and his body will be underdeveloped.

If, during the first six years of life we do not give
him information to process, we are treating him the
same as if he was in a closet. If he begins learning
a bit on his own, he’ll at least learn about his
rubber duck and he’ll pick up some English by
listening to everybody around him. Depending on the
strength and development of his auditory system his
English may be strong or weak - or he may mispronounce sounds
and syllables. He may well have an I.Q. of
less than 100.

Average kids receive an average amount of information,
and end up exactly average – intellectually they will be
six years old when he is six years chronologically.
That’s what average means.

If you understand the principles of brain growth, you
will deal with your child in a totally different
manner during those vital six years than you would
otherwise have done. This is whether or not you ever
pursue and organized and consistent program of
reading, math or general knowledge.

If such were the case your child ought to arrive at
six years of ability by the time he is four years old
chronologically. That will give him an I.Q. of 150.

Those who deal with children to
create opportunities for optimal brain growth during
those first few years, will give their child the
six-year-old ability at three years of age, and that
will give him an I.Q. of 200 or above, and he will also
have the brain growth of a six-year-old.
